1. Feb 23. Day 45.

    Introducing, ARSENAL!

Ship day. Some behind the seasons action right here. The making of the reveal video is a fun time to test the robot out and start playing with it aggressively. It was an intense build season and the team has a lot to be proud of.

  2. Feb 20 day 42.
Saturday before ship and the gold robot is coming to life. Cutting it close but ready for this piece of art to start playing stronghold

  3. Feb 19, day 41.
We enter the final build weekend of 2016. Gold robot is still lagging behind. The density of this robot creates a time consuming work environment as we finish mechanical assembly and wiring.

Meanwhile the silver robot is getting some worthwhile test time

  5. Feb 17, day 39
Silver robot has been up and down… Broken and fixed a lot this week, but now is starting to work consistently and act like a real robot.

  6. Feb 17 day 39
First sign of life on the white and gold robot as the software was loaded to move the drivetrain and intake on the bench. We still need to “run the mission”, our deadline was last Saturday.

  7. Feb 15
Ball control over the rough terrain is a difficult challenge, requiring some new prototyping ideas.

  8. Day 37 February 15
Hanging team is making headway overcoming some tough obstacles

  9. Day 35, feb 13
White and gold taking shape, but not meeting the deadline to come alive tonight

  10. Day 34, feb 12
    Drive train crossing the defenses

  11. Feb 11, day 33
Silver robot is coming to life. All subsystems have gone on the robot at least once. Lots learned and lots to fix.

  12. First drive on Wednesday, day 32, February 10. Bouncy, but quick and agile. We’ll see how it goes with more weight on it

  13. Feb 10th - day 32

  14. Feb 8th - Day 30
Robot is coming to life on track. Our team’s goal is to have two robots running on Saturday night (or early Sunday morning). The silver robot was surrounded all night long as the hanger winch system, catapult, and transmissions were installed on the robot. It’s very exciting to thee the robot taking shape. With our next practice, I think we might be ready to start driving around.

  15. Day 28, Feb 6th
Big day for the team. The frames were welded Saturday morning which meant assembly could truly begin. The electronics team got to work mounting hardware to the robot and the chassis team installed the chain into the tube and the transmissions.
